Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/- On 21 August the Official Journal will publish the decision on the approval of flood risk management plans.

The document consists of the flood risk management plan for the Dniester River basin district, as well as the flood risk management plan for the Danube – Prut and Black Sea river basin district.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment (MADRM), through the Apele Moldovei Agency will monitor the implementation of the mentioned flood risk management plans. Also, MADRM will present to the State Chancellery annually by 25 February the report on the implementation of measures for implementation of the flood risk management plans.

Funding measures provided for in the above-mentioned plans will be carried out from the account and within the limits of the allocations approved for this purpose in the budgets of public authorities / institutions involved, as well as from other sources under the legislation in force.

The decision shall enter into force upon its publication.
