As many as 522 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 3,242 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, confirming 522 cases of infection with the new coronavirus. So far, 31,937 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), eight cases are imported. Of the number of illnesses today, 40 are medical workers.

Another 242 people were treated.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of seven more deaths due to the new coronavirus, the number of deaths reaching 921.
