Two German companies to open production units in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/- Two German companies will open production units in Moldova. The investment projects in our country were discussed today at a meeting between business representatives and Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Sergiu Railean and administrator of Free Economic Zone Bălți Marin Ciobanu.
Investors presented the projects and difficulties they face. According to Heinzig's representative, Mario Heinzig, the company specializes in providing mechanical engineering and metal fabrication services for various industries. As soon as possible, after the completion of the registration procedures, the company will operate in Straseni subzone of ZEL Balti.
Sergiu Railean welcomed the German corporations decision to expand in Moldova, noting that the authorities implement policies to facilitate the business environment, so that our country becomes a regional provider of industrial services and products for both the domestic and foreign market.
"Although we are going through a difficult period, our country has investment potential. Therefore, we will provide all necessary support for investors to feel at home, to develop new projects, to open jobs ", he said.
Both companies plan for opening 1,200 jobs in Moldova in 3-5 years.
