Moldovan president meets Russian envoy

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon today held a working meeting with Oleg Vasnetov, Russian Ambassador to Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

Officials approached a number of issues on development of strategic partnership between the two states, being unanimous in their opinion on the need to further strengthen them for the benefit of our peoples.

The sides broached issue on getting Russian coronavirus vaccine and, in this context, the president reiterated willingness to test it personally.

Also, Dodon thanked the Russian side for the willingness to provide free 40-50 thousand tons of diesel for our farmers in this not at all simple period of long drought and pandemic crisis.
