Moldovan foreign minister has phone conversation with Bulgarian counterpart

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Oleg Tulea had a telephone conversation today with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Ekaterina Zaharieva, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.

The two officials highlighted the Moldovan-Bulgarian political dialogue and bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Ţulea thanked the Bulgarian government for the support of the European path of Moldova, in the continuation of reforms, including humanitarian assistance provided by Bulgaria in backing Moldova’s efforts in the fight against the pandemic.

The sides also pointed out the role that ethnic Bulgarians in our country play in the development of Moldovan-Bulgarian bilateral relations, which is a bridge between the two countries. They welcomed the implementation of development projects implemented by Bulgaria in Moldova.
