Teachers' overtime work to be paid

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/- Regardless of organization of the educational process, this academic year the teachers will be paid full salary and overtime work depending on the model selected by the institution will be paid. Minister of Education, Culture and Research Igor Sarov made the statement at a today’s working meeting with trade union staff of the Trade Union Federation of Education and Science and leaders from the districts of the country.

Participants approached the need to create a working group for working out draft law to amend and supplement some laws, which would regulate the procedure of remuneration, time spent during the pandemic, based on the principle of preserving full wage for employees as a form of social protection.

Other issues were related to the need to amend the salary class for teachers with higher education; ensuring the efficient organization of the educational process in the 2020-2021 academic year etc.
