Regulation on benefit for descendants of medical staff died of COVID-19 approved today

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/- The government today approved the Regulation on payment of compensation for descendants of medical staff who died as a result of medical activity in the fight against COVID-19.

"Setting and organizing the payment of benefit for descendants of the medical staff died as a result of the activity in the fight against COVID-19 is carried out by the National Social Insurance House (CNAS)", the government's decision reads.

The expenses for implementation of the decision will be covered from the state budget. CNAS will bring the Information System Social Protection in line with the Regulation, and CNAS and territorial houses by law have the responsibility for determining and calculating correct compensation.
