Moldovan cabinet approves plan on admission to doctoral studies financed from budget

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet at a today’s meeting approved the Plan on admission to higher doctoral studies, cycle III, financed from the state budget for the academic year 2020-2021. It includes 313 doctoral grants.

Most grants are for scientific doctorates (305) and eight grants for professional doctorates. The grants will be offered in natural sciences, medical, engineering, agricultural, social, economic and humanities. According to the government's decision, 15 doctoral grants will be awarded to foreign citizens.

Grant distribution will be as follows: Ministry of Education, Culture and Research - 203; Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment - 25; Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection - 70;Ministry of Defense - 3;Ministry of Internal Affairs - 2;State Chancellery - 10.
