As many as 624 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 3,407 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, 624 cases of infection with the new coronavirus being confirmed, four being imported. So far, 34,982 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection / MSMPS /, most cases - 307 are in the capital, 59 cases in the districts on the left bank of the Dniester, Ialoveni - 24, Edinet - 19 and Falesti - 15 cases.

Of the total number of illnesses, 28 are medical workers.

In the last 24 hours, another 287 people have been treated. In total, 24,156 people were cured by COVID-19.

MSMPS reports seven more deaths from COVID-19, with 967 deaths.
