Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRES/- The construction of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline has been completed.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the pipeline, with a length of 120 km, will provide gas transportation in a volume of 1.5 billion cubic meters / year, and after the completion, in 2021, of investments in Romania in the construction of about 165 km of pipeline on Onești-Gherăești-Lețcani and two compression stations in Onești and Gherăești, its transport capacity will increase to 2.2 billion cubic meters / year.
