As many as 220 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 31 August /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 1253 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, and 220 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed. In total, to date, 36,920 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection / MSMPS /, out of the number of illnesses, three are imported. Of the total number of cases, nine are medical workers.
Another 368 people were treated. In total, 25,872 people were cured by COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of three other deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 995.
