Over 40,000 employees in health system to get higher wages today

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/- Over 40,000 employees in health system, including doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers will receive 30 percent higher salaries today.

President Igor Dodon said today that this is the first stage of increasing salaries for medical staff, followed by two more, so that by the summer of 2021 salaries will be doubled.

The salary increase will be offered to medical staff of the institutions from the medical subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense, Interior Ministry, National Administration of Penitentiaries, SIS, social assistance institutions, asylum centers financed from the state budget, ANSP, Transplant Agency, Forensic Center, National Blood Transfusion Center and Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices.
