Customs collected over 13 billion lei in first eight months of this year

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/- Revenues of the Customs Service (SV) in the first eight months of this year amount to over 13.8 billion lei, about two billion lei being collected to the state budget in August.

Under SV, over the past month, 41704 customs declarations were made and 340 violations of customs legislation were found. The most common infringements relate to breaches of the time limits for transit or the lodging of a customs declaration, non-declaration or inauthentic declaration of consumer goods.

Also, 256 reports were made on contravention and fines worth about 820 thousand lei.
