Moldova received batch of assistance from Turkey

Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/- Turkey today provided Moldova with a batch of material assistance, including medical equipment and computers.
During the event, Ambassador of Turkey to Moldova Gürol Sökmensüer said that although the pandemic has affected the whole world, Turkey tried to be united with Moldova, which it considers a friend and strategic partner.
"In April and May we offered medical equipment as material aid. Today, we send 30,000 masks, 1,400 surgical aprons and 600 protective gowns. In the next period, as far as possible and with the support of our businessmen, we want to be able to help Moldova even more", said the diplomat.
Attending the event, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection Alexandru Holostenco noted that the equipment will be distributed to all medical institutions in the country to ensure the protection of medical staff in the fight against COVID-19.
