Moldovan president, mayor broach current situation in capital

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon had a meeting today with Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban and discussed the current situation in the capital, pressing issues in the capital and ongoing projects, the presidential press service has reported.

Ceban informed Dodon that the projects that were launched at the initiative of the president, such as rehabilitation of Albișoara Street and sidewalks on Bănulescu-Bodoni and Pushkin streets, are running as scheduled.

At the same time, the sides approached the repair works of several roads in the suburbs of the capital, within the program Good roads for all.

Another issue was related to the situation at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and unpleasant smell in the capital. The mayor assured that the municipal authorities take all measures to remedy the problems as soon as possible.

The president praised the actions taken recently in Chisinau and the projects launched in all sectors of the capital to create a modern and comfortable city. Dodon encouraged Ceban to continue implementing the projects, assuring him of support from the presidential institution.
