As many as 501 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2513 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, being confirmed 501 cases of infection with the new coronavirus. In total, to date, 40,556 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection / MSMPS /, out of the number of diseases, eight cases are imported (Luxembourg-2, Belgium-1, Denmark-1, Germany-1, Russian Federation-1, Ukraine-1, Turkey- 1).

Today, 23 health workers were detected with COVID-19.

Another 384 people were treated. In total, 28,962 people were cured by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 13 deaths caused by COVID-19, the death toll reached 1087.
