Moldovan PM had meeting with representatives of Accountants Group

Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- Today, Prime Minister Ion Chicu discussed with representatives of Accountants Group in Moldova. They approached the main impediments faced by accountants during the pandemic, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

They also broached fiscal controls and shortcomings in electronic services. The accountants noted the need for their efficiency and transparency. At the same time, they came up with suggestions for budgetary-fiscal measures to be considered to be included in next year's planning.

The participants in the meeting came up with proposals to amend the Labor Code and apply specific provisions for different categories of employees.

Chicu welcomed the cooperation and constructive proposals and suggested maintaining permanent dialogue between authorities and representatives of the accounting sector. He proposed to take into account the real situation in society and the difficulties caused by the pandemic.

All proposals will be discussed and analyzed on the work platforms of the responsible authorities.
