Ukraine changed conditions of access for foreigners

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/- Ukraine has changed the conditions of access for foreigners. The new rules will be valid until 28 September.

According to data presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, recently the Kiev authorities decided to expand the list of relatives of Ukrainian citizens who can enter the territory of this country. Thus, the grandparents were also included in the list. However, the entry of foreigners and stateless persons into the territory of Ukraine in case of transit travel, except for drivers and humanitarian cases, is prohibited.

Also, in the next period, students will be allowed to enter the territory of Ukraine.

Foreigners and stateless persons intending to cross the Ukrainian border must have an insurance policy issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or by a foreign insurance company with a representative office in Ukraine to cover the costs associated with COVID-19 treatment.

Also, persons who meet the conditions for entry into Ukraine are to present at the checkpoints the negative result of the test for COVID-19 (by PCR method).
