As many as 560 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,743 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 560 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed; one case is of import. As many as 41,704 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 28 out of all cases are medical employees: 9 physicians, 13 medical assistants and 6 auxiliary staff employees.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 564 are in serious condition (of whom 33 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,288 are in medium seriousness condition; the other patients are in satisfactory condition.

Another 512 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 29,932 persons have been healed of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another ten deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,106 people dead of this virus in all.
