Moldovan president has meeting with Chisinau mayor

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a working meeting with Chisinau General Mayor Ion Ceban, the president press service has reported. 

The interlocutors tackled subjects of major importance for the city hall. 

The sides referred to the new transport units, due to be soon brought to Chisinau, the 100 buses, due to be purchased, as well as the 35 trolley buses assembled.  

The officials discussed the resumption of the education process in the pre-school institutions and schools, the infrastructure objects under repair and the term of making available for use of each project.    

At the same time, Igor Dodon and Ion Ceban exchanged opinions on the organization of Chisinau’s Dedication Day in the current conditions. In the context, Ion Ceban said that the authorities planned something novel for the Chisinau residents, with the preservation of all safety norms and specialists’ recommendations.    

The head of state appreciated the effort made by the Chisinau mayor in improving the Moldovan capital’s look. Dodon reiterated the presidential institution’s willingness to further support projects and initiatives for Chisinau and its residents.
