Moldovan PM says history changes starting from 11 September 2001

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - The terror attacks took place in the United States 19 years ago. This was a tragedy which deeply marked the entire mankind.   

On 11 September 2001 in the morning, at 8:46, the time of New York, (15:46, Moldova’s time), the Al-Qaida terror group, which took control over four airships, knocked down the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Beginning with that dark day, the world and history changed their course.       

Besides the throwing down of America’s principal symbols and the loss of the lives of those more than 3,000 people coming from 90 countries, the attempt shook the world peace and hit the international security.  

We are by the side of the American nation and the entire international community, which commemorate this sorrow day from the contemporary history. The tragedy brought much grief and strengthened the democratic forces.  

The 2001 attack proved that it is easy to knock down buildings and put an end to lives, but it is impossible to subdue the hope, freedom and faith.
