Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP) has ruled to extend the emergency state in the public health sector till 30 September. The CNESP members also approved a plan on preparation and response to the infection with the new-type virus, which includes the criteria and ways of adjusting the public health measures, depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The term of enforcing the restrictions in force was prolonged, with certain exceptions:
- The commission removed the restriction on the organization of weddings and christening parties. These events are allowed with condition of participation of a smaller number than 50 people and with the strict observance of the anti-epidemic measures.
- Group meetings are allowed to be organized (not more than 50 people).
- People coming to Moldova from the green zone countries, but who cross states described as being in the red zone, will fill in an epidemiological card and will stay in self-isolation regime for 14 days.
- The parents or the legal representative, due to accompany the pupil/student for the carrying out of education, will not stay in self-isolation.
- The ban on leaving Moldova for people in self-isolation has been excluded.
- Given that the electoral period starts, CNESP established a mechanism of cooperation of the electoral local bodies with the territorial public health structures. In the context, the commission members asked to avoid the opening of polling stations at the headquarters of education institutions.
The CNESP members reiterated the importance of observing those three golden rules for ceasing the spread of the Covid-19 virus: frequent cleaning of hands, observing the physical/social distance of 1 metre and correct wearing of masks in closed spaces and agglomerated places.
