As many as 42,978 COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in all

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,098 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 264 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 42,978 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), three cases are of import. Twenty three out of all cases are medical employees: 8 physicians, 11 medical assistants and 4 auxiliary staff employees.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 577 are in serious condition (of whom 36 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,363 persons are in medium seriousness condition; the other patients are in satisfactory condition.

Another 412 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 31,330 persons have been healed of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another six deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,123 people dead of this virus in all.
