Almost 4,000 people to receive financial assistance on behalf of Chisinau city hall

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,800 socially disadvantaged people and families from Moldova’s capital and its suburbs will benefit from financial assistance on behalf of the local public authorities.

At a today’s operative meeting of the Chisinau city hall’s services, the head of the social assistance and health general department, Tatiana Bucearschi, informed that 915 people with hearing deficiencies would receive assistance by the International Day of People with Hearing Disabilities, marked on 27 September this year.

At the same time, by 1 October, on the International Day for Older Persons, 2,000 elderly people will benefit from assistance on behalf of local authorities. Also, by 13 November - the International Day of Blind People, 840 members of the association of blind people, including 37 parents educating children with sight problems, will benefit from material aid.
