Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ The Embassy of China today donated 26 laptops with licenced software, within the Donate a Computer for Education campaign.

The event of delivery of the computer technology took place at the headquarters of the Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC), with the participation of Minister Igor Sarov and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Moldova Zhang Yinghong.

„I appreciate that, in these difficult conditions for the entire mankind, you are by our side with this donation. I should note that you have always been with us, beginning with the signing of the Agreement between the governments of Moldova and China, due to which more Moldovan young people received scholarships. We cannot forget either the support you have provided us to organize more cultural events in Moldova,’’ Igor Sarov stressed at the donation event.

„The People’s Republic of China and Moldova have always had a friendly cooperation. We know that the distance education is essential in these times; therefore, the Embassy of China backs those who need. By this contribution, we want to provide even a class of pupils access to distance education,’’ the Chinese diplomat said.

Those 26 laptops will be distributed to education institutions under a government decision, along with other donations made on this period.
