Universities from Moldovan capital to start working gradually

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - No coronavirus hotbeds are registered in the higher education institutions from Moldova.
At a today’s news conference, Education, Culture and Research Minister Igor Sarov said that the universities from Chisinau would start working gradually. ‘’To avoid agglomeration and transmission of the coronavirus infection, the universities from Chisinau accepted to start their activity gradually,’’ Sarov noted.
Also, as a preventive measure, Sarov said that nine universities would carry out their work in mixed regime, through online courses and physical presence only at the examinations and viva-voce exams. At the same time, five institutions will work only in online regime.
„No big hotbeds of coronavirus are recorded at the higher education institutions – we have only seven sick teachers and eight ill students,’’ the official added.
