More physicians receive state distinctions in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today handed state distinctions to a group of over 400 medical employees, who were awarded these distinctions on the occasion of their professional day in last June, the presidential press service has reported.

The orders and medals were awarded as a token of deep gratitude for the long and prodigious work in the healthcare sector, substantial contribution to the implementation of reforms and advanced ways of treatment, as well as for the self-denial and abnegation proved in the medical sector.

The head of state thanked everybody for the contribution they brought to the medical act day after day, for the high professionalism displayed, as well as for the entire career dedicated to the rescuing of human lives.

Igor Dodon said that the present leadership made joint efforts, so that the medical sector and the employees of this field are appreciated properly. ‘’I am confident that we will together manage to modernize the medical system from Moldova, just as we everybody want this,’’ the Moldovan president added.
