As many as 527 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,320 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 527 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 43,734 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 32 out of all cases are medical employees: 9 physicians, 15 medical assistants and 8 auxiliary staff employees.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 564 are in serious condition (of whom 38 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,352 persons are in medium seriousness condition; the other patients are in satisfactory condition.

Another 465 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 32,293 persons have been healed of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,144 people dead of this virus in all. So far, 34 medical employees have lost their fight with COVID-19.
