Weather to sharply cool in Moldova on next days

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/ -Meteorologists have issued a yellow code, thereby announcing a sharp cooling of the weather on the next two days.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, given the penetration of a cold air mass of Arctic origin, the air temperature will decrease to +10 Celsius degrees on 18 and 19 September.

During the day, the maximal air temperature will oscillate between +15 and +20 degrees and will not be higher than +10 degrees at night. On 18 September, the weather’s cooling will be accompanied by gusting of the north-eastern wind; at the same time, on 19 September morning, frost of -1 - -2 degrees is expected on the surface of the soil in Moldova’s northern districts.
