Declaration of residence on day of presidential elections to be submitted by 1 October

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission warns voters that the deadline for citizens to declare their new residence at the 1 November presidential election will expire on 1 October.
According to a press release of the central electoral administration, to be able to vote at a polling station other than the one corresponding to the valid residence, the voter will personally submit a residence declaration, accompanied by a copy of the identity document to the public administration authority in the locality where he wants to vote.
Thus, the voter will be registered in the basic electoral list of the polling station according to the declared place of residence, where on election day can exercise the right to vote.
The Central election administration notes that the statements submitted for the previous elections are no longer valid.
