Moldovan president delivers speech at 75th UN General Assembly

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon delivered an online speech at the 75th General Assembly of the United Nations, dedicated to the anniversary of the global organization, the presidential press service has reported.

He noted that 2020 will remain in the history of mankind as one of strengthening joint effort to overcome global challenges. Dodon pointed out the decisive role of the UN in solving or preventing various global issues.

At the same time, the president said that Moldova fully supports the collective effort to achieve the goals set out in the Anniversary Declaration of the General Assembly and is committed to contribute to the joint response to the major challenges faced by the UN and the international community.
