Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law amending Article I of Law No170/2018 on registration of vehicles and amending some laws were published in the Official Journal of Moldova and entered into force.

According to the document, the means of transport on the left bank of the Dniester and Bender municipality may get neutral registration numbers until 1 September 2022. Under the legislation, the term expired this year.

The extension of the two-year term will give residents of the administrative-territorial units of Transnistria and Bender the right to access international traffic with their own vehicles only if they are registered by state authorities under the Convention on Road Traffic, concluded in Vienna on 8 May 1968, to which Moldova acceded by parliament decision No1318/1993.
