Moldovan cabinet rules to provide Scholarships of President, Republic, Government, Gaudeamus

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/ - The government at a today’s meeting approved the lists of candidates, among students of higher education institutions  and pupils of post-secondary vocational education and post-secondary non-tertiary institutions, for the providing of the Scholarship of Moldova’s President for the 2020-2021 academic year. The lists are to be submitted to the head of state.  

Under the cabinet decision, the lists include ten candidates among students of higher education institutions and five ones among pupils of post-secondary vocational education and post-secondary non-tertiary institutions.

The candidates for the President’s Scholarship were approved at the Senates of Universities and teachers’ councils of vocational education institutions. In accordance with the regulation on the way and conditions of providing scholarships, the President’s Scholarship, which is to be promulgated by decree, is 1,455 lei for the higher education and 1,130 lei for the post-secondary and non-tertiary vocational education

Also today, the cabinet of ministers ruled to provide the following scholarships to students and pupils: Republic Scholarship (12 scholarships worth 1,600 lei); Government Scholarship (30 scholarships worth 1,335 lei); Gaudeamus Scholarship (20 scholarships worth 965 lei).
