Chisinau included in UNESCO global network learning cities

Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau along with 54 cities in 27 countries around the world has become part of the UNESCO Global Network Learning Cities.

The UNESCO Global Network promotes political dialogue, peer learning and collaboration between member cities. Thus, Chisinau will have access to global projects aimed at lifelong learning.

The UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) is an international policy-oriented network that provides inspiration, knowledge and good practice. Based on the UNESCO GNLC strategy for 2019-2021, over 170 network members focus their joint activities on seven key groups: education for sustainable development; equity and inclusion; educational planning, monitoring and evaluation; education for global citizenship; entrepreneurship; health and welfare; literacy.
