Five crews of firemen intervene after roof of annex of Chisinau-based National Philharmonic catches fire

Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/ - Five crews of firemen and a ladder today afternoon intervened to extinguish a fire which outburst at an annex of the Chisinau-based National Philharmonic.

According to the Interior Ministry’s General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the call at the 112 Service was recorded at 12:00. The first information shows that thick smoke was discovered coming from the rood of the building of the National Philharmonic.

Five crews went to the place of the fire. On the spot, IGSU employees found out that the roof of an annex was burning. No victims were reported and the firemen work to localize the fire.

The circumstances and the reason for the occurring of the fire are to be established subsequently.
