Firefighters continue to eliminate burning outbreaks inside National Philharmonic

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 56 employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations / IGSU /, troops and special command and technique continue today the intervention for the elimination of fire outbreaks inside the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici.

IGSU press officer Liliana Pușcașu said that during the night the firefighters' intervention was suspended, being resumed by 6:00 this morning.

The Experimental Fire Laboratory is to establish the circumstances of the fire after performing statistical and dynamic research of the fire site.

Yesterday, a fire burned over 3500 m2 of the building of the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici, both concert halls being destroyed. The fire burned even more valuable musical instruments.
