As many as 713 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,614 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 713 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 49,666 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), six out of all cases are of import (Belgium -1, Germany -1, Romania -1, Russia-1, Spain-1, Turkey).

Also today, 41 medical employees were tested positive for COVID019, of whom 15 physicians, 20 medical assistants and 6 auxiliary staff employees.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 558 are in serious condition (of whom 36 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,438 people are in medium serious condition.

Another 380 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 37,023 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 12 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,264 people dead of this virus in all.
