Moldovan authorities not considering interruption of economic activities

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/- The authorities are not considering the possibility to stop economic activities in the country or the educational process due to the large number of cases of COVID-19. President Igor Dodon made the statement today at the end of the meeting with the top leadership.
He said that the situation as regards COVID-19 is managed by the health system and there are enough places in hospitals. "I want to inform you that the medical system is ready, it copes. Places in hospitals are, the situation is managed. Moldova is provided with everything necessary: medicines, tests ", said Dodon.
He noted that in the last week, several MPs have contracted the virus.
The president said that the economic agents must operate, and the same refers to the educational system. He reminded he has already made a request to the Russian Federation that once the vaccine discovered by Russian scientists will pass all testing stages, it can be brought to Moldova.
So far, 50,875 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in our country.
