Moldovan deputy premier has meeting with Head of OSCE Mission in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic today had a new meeting with Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova Claus Neukirch. The two officials continued their discussion on the subjects tackled last week, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
Thus, Cristina Lesnic conveyed a list of individual cases of human rights’ infringement in the Transnistrian region, which represent reasons for concern for the constitutional authorities. The worsening of the human rights’ dimension during the COVID-19 pandemic was paid special attention during the discussions. The sides noted that this dimension needed a comprehensive, efficient approach and an effective remedy.
At the same time, the officials exchanged opinions on the situation of the dialogue on the Transnistrian conflict; they also discussed a string of visions on the carrying out of the goals from the Berlin Plus Package, communication with the actors in the 5+2 format.
Another subject of the discussions was focused on the security of the electoral process and the citizens on the immediately next period.
Also, the OSCE Mission was informed that the working group in the transports sector was to hold an online meeting on 30 September 2020.
