Chisinau-Giurgiulesti M3 road segment to be restored till 2022

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - About 90 km of a national road of major importance for Moldova’s infrastructure, M3 Chisinau – Giurgiulesti, will be fully restored till January 2022, according to the State Administration of Roads (ASD).

The rehabilitation works started in early February 2019 and are carried out at a level of 31 per cent.

According to ASD, the road’s restoration will create confortable conditions for the residents of the villages crossed by the village. The road will be completed by sidewalks, entries in yards and street illumination.

The aforementioned segment leads to the Giurgiulesti border crossing point and its rehabilitation is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with an investment of 29.9 million euros.
