Today - last day for campaigning

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission warns that today is the last day that the candidates for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova can do campaigning.

The central electoral administration notes that campaigning is forbidden on election day and the day before it. These days, the appearance of candidates in elections to TV or radio shows is not allowed.

At the same time, the CEC notes that the ban does not refer to information already posted on the internet and on posters previously displayed.

Also, on election day and the previous one, the candidates may not make transfers to / from the account specified as Electoral fund.

Continuing to campaign on the days by the media, candidates and citizens is an administrative offense and is fined from 15 to 30 conventional units to private people or from 35 to 50 conventional units to official or electoral contestant.
