General Police Inspectorate registers over 320 infringements today

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - The leadership of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP) today informed that it had registered 324 alleged infringements during the presidential elections.
At a news briefing, the IGP deputy head, Marin Maxian, said that law-enforcers had documented six cases of blocking roads to polling stations and 29 cases of electoral agitation.
Maxian also said that the number of cases of photographing ballot papers – 36, had increased today afternoon. Also, competent people documented 13 notifications on alleged cases of corrupting voters. More than 200 notifications on organized transportation of voters were sent to the police and eight incidents with the mobile ballot box were recorded, as well as over 20 notifications on drunk voters and their aggressive behaviour, just as cases of non-observance of COVID-19 infection prevention measures.
The IGP official noted that law-enforcers had intervened also in five cases of alleged multiple voting.
More than 6,000 Interior Ministry employees were involved in the preservation of public order at the today’s elections.
