Moldovan tax body collected 35.8 billion lei in early 2020

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/- The State Tax Service (SFS) collected in the National Public Budget in the first eleven months of this year 35.8 billion lei, which represents an increase of over 765.9 million lei or 2.2% in compared to the same period last year, the SFS said.

According to the institution, in the State Budget, in the first 11 months of 2020, 14.9 billion lei were collected, which is 350.1 million lei less compared to the same period of 2019, or a decrease of 2 ,3%.

The local budgets recorded revenues amounting to 3.7 billion lei, which is 223.4 million lei more compared to the same period last year or 6.4%.

Also, the State Social Insurance Budget collected 12.8 billion lei, which is 784.9 million lei more compared to the similar period of the previous year, or an increase of 6 ,5%.

"During this period, 4.3 billion lei was collected to the compulsory health insurance funds, which is 107.7 million lei more compared to the similar period of 2019 or 2.6% ", SFS said.
