Moldovan capital's city hall gets nine million lei from auction for renting five municipal grounds

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall has got nine million lei from the auction for renting five municipal grounds for placing booths. Till today evening, the local administration will put another ten grounds to auction.

The Moldovan capital’s city hall today held the action for the rental of the municipal ground for five years, with the right to place a public nourishment booth on it. As many as 117 competitors participate for those 15 grounds put to auction.

The City hall got about nine million lei after holding the auction for five of these locations.

The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, expressed perplexity and asked, on social networks, where the sums of money got from the rental of the right to place booths in the city had been going so far.

The Chisinau municipality’s public administration for the first time ever organizes actions for the rental of a location for placing a booth for five years.
