Moldovan, Czech officials broach bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Aureliu Ciocoi had a telephone conversation on Thursday with Tomáš Petříček, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. They exchanged views on Moldovan-Czech cooperation, European affairs and the efforts of both countries to counter the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the MAEIE press service has reported.
Aureliu Ciocoi and Tomáš Petříček emphasized the upward nature of bilateral relations, as well as the need to strengthen this trend by boosting political-diplomatic dialogue, including throigh economic potential.
The Moldovan official thanked Prague authorities for constant support in the implementation of development policies and reforms in our country and expressed gratitude for the technical and financial assistance provided to the Republic of Moldova, which is included in the list of priorities of the Czech government in the distribution of official development assistance.
The officials also discussed the European integration agenda of the Republic of Moldova, reiterating the support of the Czech authorities for the proper implementation of the Association Agreement and oriented for the development of sectoral initiatives in our country.
