Authorization of aid applications in agriculture resumed

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/- The Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA), with the entry into force of the State Budget Law for 2021 resumed the process of authorizing applications for financial support from last year, left without financial coverage due to exhaustion of National Fund Agriculture and Rural Development (FNDAMR) for 2020.

According to AIPA, in 2020, 7448 cases were received on financial support for 4392 farmers amounting to over 1.2 billion lei.

"The State, through the Fund, supports farmers who have invested in the construction of greenhouses, the establishment of multiannual plantations, the procurement of agricultural machinery, the development of the livestock sector, organic farming, product promotion in markets, development of rural agritourism, creation or expansion craft units etc”, AIPA said.

For 2021, according to the State Budget Law, the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment is 1.1 billion lei.
