Sale of March 1 trinkets to be allowed only in authorized places in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall informs that, on 14 February – 10 March, it will authorize special places for the sale of Martisors (trinkets worn in honour of 1 March), souvenirs and garden flowers, in the context of the carrying out of the spring holidays Dragobete, Martisor and International Women’s Day – 8 March.
The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, signed a decision in this respect, as a result of requests received on behalf of economic agents and private people.
Under the decision, the district praetor’s offices will establish the locations for the commercialization of Martisors, souvenirs and garden flowers and will issue authorizations for carrying out the spring fair. At the same time, the chaotic sale of Martisors will not be allowed.
The holders of authorizations will be obliged to ensure the observance of the measures of preventing and diminishing the spread of the COVID-19 infection.
