Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/ - Romanian singer Tudor Gheorghe comes back to Chisinau with a traditional show of hits titled, Squanderer of Beauties, due at the Palace of the Republic on 17 September. The event is part of a suite of concerts organized by the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic at this institution in September.
A well-known musician from the United States, Alexandr Paley, will give a piano recital at the Palace of the Republic on 6 September at 18:00.
On 8 September at 11:00, the Palace of the Republic will host the semi-final of the Vincero Italian Worldwide Opera Competition, the first issue.
On 28 September at 18:00, the International Festival Piano Nights, the 18th issue, will take place at the Palace of the Republic and the Gala of Musical Excellency, third edition, will be held at the same institution on 30 September.
We remind that, in the wake of a devastating fire, which occurred in last September, the building of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic burned at a level of 80 per cent. Since then, the institution and its staff have been working at the Palace of the Republic. Also, the Philharmonic’s concerts are given at the Green Theatre and Eco Resort Butuceni location and the institution’s administration is at the headquarters of the Musicians’ Union on the A. Pushkin Street 24.
