Best practices program for 2022 launched for local authorities in Moldova

Chisinau, June 24 / MOLDPRES /- The Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) Viitorul, together with the Council of Europe have announced the enrollment in the 2022 edition of the best practices in local administration program. The registration deadline is 15 August.

"Do you have successful initiatives in your community that you are proud of? Then take them out of anonymity so that they know the whole country and are rewarded. The purpose of this program is to identify and disseminate innovative and efficient initiatives in local public administration in the Republic of Moldova, as well as to share the experience and outstanding results of communities and local public administration in the country, "said the organizers.

The sections of the best practice competition for the current edition are: transparent governance for a smart public administration; local development through community solidarity; authentic traditions at home; community infrastructure for social revitalization.

In order to participate, the local practice must be implemented between June 2020 and June 2022. Good practice projects that have been awarded in previous editions of the program or project ideas that have not yet been implemented cannot participate in the national competition.
