Minimum salary to be unified in all institutions of Moldova, no matter type of property, form of organization

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a draft law, which sees the unification of the minimum salary in all institutions of Moldova. Thus, while at present, the rules of establishing the salary in the public sector and the real one are different, the amendments suggested will ensure a minimally guaranteed quantum of the equivalent salary at any public institution, private company or self-managed entity. The adjustings will enter into force as of 1 September 2022, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Also, the draft is set to promote the fair salary increases at the state enterprises, enterprises where the state holds a majority stake and the monopolist enterprises.
Also, an article will be introduced, which regulates the remuneration of the employees from the public medical and sanitary institutions involved in the mandatory health insurances system and of the employees of the clinical departments of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
